Philosophy

Family Matters strongly believes that extended family are a valuable resource, who can play a role in providing quality care and education for children to enable them to be confident and competent learners and communicators.

Our aim is to provide an environment that promotes the building of supportive, strong, reciprocal and respectful relationships between children, educators, parents and coordinators, which continues outside the care and educational environment.

Family Matters has a culture of providing care environments that are warm and welcoming, safe and caring where children and their families feel welcomed.

Learning is a shared experience in small groups where children can safely explore life in a holistic manner. Where they can be creative, have fun, explore at their own developmental level and abilities. Where they can pursue their own interests and skills and remain stimulated in the home and in the wider community.
