Lake Okareka Preschool is situated in beautiful Lake Okareka - only 5 minutes drive from Lynmore and 12 minutes from central Rotorua.
We have:
- 3 qualified and experienced teachers who have been teaching together for many years.
- Small group ratios - 20 in the morning and 12 in the afternoon sessions.
- Extended sessions for 4 year olds only.
- A well resourced, community run and family oriented centre with an expansive outdoor play area.
- 20 free ECE hours available.
Children who attend come from Lake Okareka, Lake Tarawera and Lynmore and from further afield such as Otonga, Springfield and Lake Rotoiti. Many families carpool to make travel easier.
Our parents look towards the preschool as a place to provide valuable learning experiences, activities enabling creativity and the free use of imagination as well as developing social skills.
Mornings:
Monday & Friday: 8.15am - 1.00pm
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 8.15 am - 12.30pm
Extended Sessions for 4 yr olds
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 8.15am - 3.00pm
