Welcome to Bairds Kindergarten!
Bairds Kindergarten is inclusive. The diverse cultures of our staff, children and their whãnau are valued. We are passionate about helping children to realize their full potential.
We offer high quality resources that have been researched and seen as provocations for higher learning for children to explore and learn and to sustain their play.
Here at Bairds Kindergarten our qualified teachers create movies of the children's activities and learning. We use technology in creative ways to showcase and communicate what has been developing with our learning, television notices and creative movies in the kindergarten.
We have a passionate and dedicated Parent Whānau Support Group who meet regularly and work cohesively in partnership with the staff to provide amazing family events and engaging opportunities for the kindergarten community. Families are encouraged to be actively involved in the life of the kindergarten.
We believe that it takes a village to raise a child, which is why we find it important involve our families and community in our kindergarten environment.
With many current parents who attended the kindergarten when they were younger, their participation in their children's education is important. This is why we have created whānau teams. Phoenix, Taniwhas and Sharks.
