Rise to Shine Christian Preschool believes that children are a gift from God. We are inspired to respect, serve, care and prepare tamariki by encouraging them to develop the attitudes and skills they need for lifelong learning.
We care for the spiritual, emotional, social, intellectual, and physical health of each tamiti as it is our priority to provide excellent quality care and education. We acknowledge the special place of Māori as tangata whenua and recognize te reo Māori as an official language of New Zealand.
Reggio Emilia approach inspires us to support co-construction as a method of teaching to increase tamaiti learning while they are working alongside others by engaging in experiences that have meaning for them.
