Childcare Centres - Matakana
Matakana has just a few centres, but that's how you like it right - a small, close knit community. In the town centre there are 2 preschools with Small Steps and Matakana Playcentre/playgroup. Way up the end of the main drag you have Totara Hill Montessori. Matakana tends to survive many of the coastal settlements like Omaha, Leigh and Tawharanui. If you are after a larger selection of day care centres then there is always Warkworth if you are prepared for the drive.
